LaTeX author support files for the journal Astrophysics and Space Science (ASTR).

Contents

The following files are given in the repository (or directly in .zip archive):

• aastex.cls, spr-astr-addons.sty - LaTeX style files designed for ASTR journal articles. Please do not change them. These files are already loaded in the respective template files;
• template.tex - main template file for manuscript preparation;
• sample.pdf - sample paper;
• sample.tex - source file of the sample paper;
• biblio-u1.bib - bibliography source file of the sample paper;
• shortguide.pdf - short instructions of manuscript preparation;
• shortguide.tex - source file of instructions;
• spr-mp-nameyear-cnd.bst - BibTeX styles to prepare bibliography file. More information can be found here or here.

Setup

• Clone the repository or download the .zip archive.
• Install LaTeX style files (aastex.cls, spr-astr-addons.sty, spr-mp-nameyear-cnd.bst) in your TeX system or place them in the same directory where your *.tex file is.
• Read the instructions (shortguide.pdf) for the preparation of your LaTeX document.
• Use the template file template.tex to prepare your manuscript.
